Hello, and Welcome to Sweet Everlasting Herbal Remedies!
Herbs became my friends as I felt hopeless from the day to day exhaustion of dealing with chronic illness...
In college I realized that no one was coming to save me from my dis—ease, and I was going to have to find an answer myself.
The never ending financial drain of doctor visits for prescriptions necessary for relief and life itself is a curse that is nothing but financial gain for a medical system that fails everyday people who simply need relief from pain and suffering.
I was guided to herbs and food being the answer to this problem.
After having researched the benefits of cannabis for diabetes and blood sugar management, I began to find other herbs that could help manage this disease and possibly help to alleviate some of its many long-term complications.
I pursued becoming an herbalist in hopes of through learning how to help myself cope and navigate my issues, that I may in turn be able to help others find a way to handle their own dis-ease, pain and suffering as well.
My name is Jessie Morris , I live in East Tennessee and I am a Certified Herbalist per the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbal Medicine. My elective focus is in Nutrition and Lymphatics.
I have been studying and using herbs and nutrition for over 15 years to try and help manage my Type 1 Diabetes and its subsequent myriad of issues. I have been a Type 1 for 30 years.
I am well versed in the herbs that may have benefit in management of Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, Dysmenorrhea and Endometriosis, Dupuytren’s, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression, Sleep Dysfunction, and Pain and Inflammation from chronic illness.
I use herbs from all systems medicine all over the world, as long as I understand them and their energetics. Although I will say I do have an affinity for those herbs that grow close, and are native to my home here in the Southeastern United States.
I am working on a Herbal Recipe book from products I have created for specific indications as well an Apothecary Journal for personal documentation of herbal remedies and their affect on you for your own herbal growth journey.
Thank you for visiting and I look forward to helping you find new plants for your own path.
All the best things to you -
Jessie
